The last place Crusaders had a 7-5 lead midway through the third period looking for the upset. But an aging and slow Commish set up Estrela for a gaggle of goals, and the Nordiques would take the game over. Add a couple of late Randy Cip goals set up by Tiny Rick, and the DePrato-less Nordiques would get back into first place. LaVerde was sorely missed by the Crusaders. |

The 3-0 Jets have now lost two in a row. This week was a crappy loss, as only 3 Aeros skaters showed up, and 5 subs got them the win. Pete Carpinteri did have 3 goals and 3 assists for the Aeros as one of the few OG players. The Jets got Ricci for Caffarella, which is like getting a used Hyundai for a new Corolla. |
